ArgOS is a new type of Agent framework design, primarily aimed at game development, offering higher modularity and performance compared to traditional Agent frameworks. This design utilizes the Entity-Component-System ( ECS ) architecture, decoupling the various capabilities of the Agent into independently operating systems.
Core Design of the Framework
ArgOS is based on the ECS architecture, modeling the Agent as an entity composed of multiple components. It mainly includes the following parts:
Entity (: exists only as an ID, containing no data or logic.
Component ): Stores specific data and state of entities. Such as Agent, Perception, Memory, Action, and other components.
System (: Executes logic related to components. Such as PerceptionSystem, ExperienceSystem, ThinkingSystem, etc.
